Frequently Asked Questions

Who is God?

God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. (Gen. 1:1) God is our creator. (Gen. 1:26)

Why do I need God?

Because God loves us unconditionally. God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16) We were created for relationship with God; but, because of our stubborn self-will, we are separated from Him. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.

What is Prayer?

Prayer is our direct line with heaven. Prayer is a communication process that allows us to talk to God. Praying is like talking to your best friend! It's easy to talk to someone when you know they love you unconditionally!

Why should I Pray?

Prayer is the key to the heart of God. Prayer is the only way to a real and personal relationship with God.

What is Salvation?

Biblical salvation refers to our deliverance from the consequence of sin and therefore involves the removal of sin. Only God can remove sin and deliver us from sin's penalty (2 Timothy 1:9, Titus 3:5).

How do I Get Saved?

We are saved by faith. First, we must hear the gospel, the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13). Then, we must believe - fully trust the Lord Jesus (Romans 1:16). This involves repentance, a changing of mind about sin and Christ (Acts 3:19), and calling on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10, 13).
